KARACHI: PTI Sindh MPA Khurram Sher Zaman on Monday lashed out on the Sindh authorities, warning that Karachi will “once again drown” due to Sindh authorities’s perspective in the direction of governance.
The PTI lawmaker was responding to CM Murad Ali Shah’s press convention from just a few hours in the past during which he had taken goal on the PTI-led authorities.
The Sindh authorities and the Centre have been at it over the previous couple of weeks, with representatives from each side hurling critical allegations at one another.
“It seems as if Karachi will drown once again because of the Sindh government,” mentioned Zaman, including that the monsoon season was about to begin and the Sindh authorities had not carried out any work to make sure cleansing of Karachi’s drains.
He mentioned the federal authorities had taken duty for cleansing Karachi’s drains, lamenting that upkeep of regulation and order in addition to cleansing drains was the provincial authorities’s job.
