
The USA’ Embassy in Islamabad has lauded Pakistani college students for “beating MIT & Stanford” in an plane designing, constructing and flying contest.
The Pakistani group, which comprised college students from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Expertise (GIKI), gained in opposition to their friends from the Massachusetts Institute of Expertise (MIT) and Stanford College.
“Congrats to Team Invictus, a group of Pakistani students from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute for winning 2nd place in the 2021 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Design, Build and Fly) competition, beating MIT & Stanford!” the Embassy wrote on Twitter.
The Pakistani college students had been a part of the 2021 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) competitors the place they needed to design, construct, and fly an plane.
