PESHAWAR: The police arrested three males in Peshawar for setting the marriage date and sending out invitation playing cards for a girl with out her consent.

The boys have been booked below Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Ghag Act, 2013, which outlawed the inhumane observe of “ghag”, the place a person forcibly calls for or claims the hand of a girl with out her or her dad or mum’s permission by making an open declaration.

On Tuesday, the Hayatabad police registered a primary data report on the request of a person named, Gul Wali.
