Tennis star Sania Mirza revealed on Monday that she had contracted COVID-19 initially of 2021.

The tennis star, in a submit on Instagram, mentioned she had contracted COVID-19. Nonetheless, she is now “healthy and absolutely fine”.

Sharing her expertise through the COVID-19 interval, she mentioned: “I was lucky to not have any major symptoms for the most part of it, but I was in isolation and the toughest part was to stay away from my 2-year-old and family.”

Moreover, she mentioned that she was lucky to be “more or less OK” all through all of it; nevertheless, being away from her household was the scariest factor for her — to not know when she may see them once more.

Stressing that the virus was no joke, she mentioned that she had contracted it regardless of taking all of the precautions that she may.

“We must do everything we can to protect our friends and family […] wear your masks, wash your hands, and protect yourself and your loved ones,” she mentioned.

“We are in this fight together,” Mirza added.
