The ruler in her message gave warmth and solace amidst COVID-19 outbreak.
“We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return: we will be with our friends again; we will be with our families again; we will meet again,” the Queen said in an online media post on Thursday.
“Wishing you all a Happy and Healthy New Year,” she concluded.
After dropping the yearly Christmas festivities at Sandringham this year, Queen Elizabeth and her significant other Prince Philip are disengaging at the Windsor Castle.
