ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Training and Skilled Coaching Shafqat Mehmood on Sunday despatched a particular message to Pakistani college students on the event of Worldwide Training Day saying that “education is the key to the country’s progress and prosperity”.

In his message, the minister added that it’s the “right of every child to have equal educational opportunities and facilities,” subsequently, the federal government is working to make sure that on each degree.

“Even today, millions of students in Pakistan are out of school. Sending them to schools is the top-most priority of the government,” he stated.

Shedding mild on the disruption of instructional actions due to the coronavirus pandemic, Shafqat Mehmood stated that the federal government is using efforts and mobilising its sources to make up for the lack of time that college students needed to endure because of the lockdown. 

“It is our national duty to equip the younger generation of Pakistan with the power of education, and all classes of society must play a part in ensuring that,” he stated.

The United Nations Common Meeting has proclaimed 24 January as Worldwide Day of Training in celebration of the function of training for peace and improvement.

The third Worldwide Day of Training (January 24) will probably be marked on Monday 25 January 2021 below the theme ‘Recover and Revitalise Education for the COVID-19 Generation’.
