A younger man was hit and killed by a practice in Pakistan whereas being filmed strolling alongside the tracks for a TikTok stunt, police and rescue officers mentioned Saturday.

The accident occurred on Friday within the Shah Khalid neighbourhood of Rawalpindi metropolis, close to Islamabad.

Hamza Naveed, 18, was strolling subsequent to the tracks whereas a good friend filmed him, Raja Rafaqat Zaman, a spokesperson for the native rescue company, instructed AFP.

“The moving train hit him while he was posing for a video and walking on the railway track,” Zaman mentioned.

Rescue staff rushed to the location, he mentioned, however the younger man was already lifeless.

Associates of the younger man instructed rescue staff he was posing for the video to publish it on TikTok and his different social media accounts, Zaman mentioned.

A police official on the native station confirmed the accident and different particulars.
