All private and non-private major and center faculties and universities will probably be reopened February 1, the Punjab authorities notified on Friday as per an earlier determination made by the Nationwide Command and Operation Centre. 

Punjab schooling minister Dr Murad Raas shared the notification on Twitter. 

It identifies all the small print relating to the opening of instructional institutes and the usual working procedures which can be to be adopted.

In response to the notification, college students from all the academic institutes will attend lessons on different days. The scholar ratio should stay at a 50% on every day.

The provincial division said that the board examinations for SSC and HSSC college students will probably be held in Could and June.

“The Accelerated learning Programme (ALP) communicated earlier shall continue to be followed by the Public Schools. Assessment criteria and Examinations schedule for 5th and 8th grade shall be communicated separately by the Punjab Examination Commission,” learn the notification.

The division reminded all faculties to “ensure strict implementations of SOPs” which were communicated over time by the Main & Secondary Healthcare Division and Faculty Training Division, Punjab.

“School timing shall be observed as per previous practice in winter season,” added the notification.

Pakistan decides to reopen faculties

On January 16, the federal schooling minister had held a high-level assembly on the Nationwide Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) to evaluation the choice to reopen instructional establishments amid the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

Through the assembly, it was determined that lessons will begin for college students of grades 9 to 12 from January 18 as determined earlier.

A one-week extension was granted to begin the lessons for college students of grades 1-8. They had been earlier supposed to begin by January 25.
