ISLAMABAD/LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan stated Friday the Punjab police wants enchancment and that “political hirings” prior to now have adversely impacted individuals throughout Pakistan.

Talking at a gathering attended by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability and Inside Barrister Mirza Shahzad Akbar, the premier underlined that strict punishments needs to be meted to these officers who impede justice.

“In the past, political recruitments were made in the police at the expense of the people,” he stated, noting that neither was anybody above the regulation nor ought to the police think about any political affect for recruitment.
