The PML-N has chosen on a fundamental level to challenge the by-surveys, sources inside the gathering said on Thursday.
According to the sources, a day sooner when PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz met Pakistan Democratic Movement boss Maulana Fazlur Rehman, she examined challenging by-polls.
The sources added that if the PPP chooses to “stick to its decision of contesting Senate elections, then PML-N will also consider the same”.
They said that the gathering will consider on the issue further after January 31 — the “deadline” given by the PDM to Prime Minister Imran Khan to step down.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman hosts said that each get-together should settle on its own whether it needs to challenge the by-decisions, the sources stated, adding that the issue will be taken up by the PDM in their gathering on January 1.
According to the sources, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari ” will be persuaded to not pursue contesting the Senate elections as yet”.
The PDM has said it will get with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari about the gathering’s position on different alternatives in the continuous enemy of government crusade, when it accumulates for a gathering planned for Raiwind on Friday.
