ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Worldwide Airways (PIA) introduced Sunday that it’s going to resume flight operations to Saudi Arabia from as we speak after the dominion introduced it was resuming worldwide journey once more.

Riyadh had closed its borders for journey final month after a brand new pressure of the novel coronavirus had been detected in the UK.  

On Sunday, the dominion’s civil aviation authority, the Basic Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) introduced the nation was resuming worldwide journey in a notification following which PIA made the announcement relating to resumption of its journey. 

A number of days in the past, the PIA had introduced that it could repatriate Pakistani who had been stranded in Saudi Arabia following the outbreak of the second wave of the virus. 

“Passengers will be able to travel to Saudi Arabia from today on all PIA flights,” mentioned the nationwide flag service’s spokesperson. “All travelers must obtain a [negative] PCR test before they travel.”
