US Embassy Islamabad on Monday has recognised the contributions of a Pakistani award-winning open-source engineer, Ahmad Awais, for contributing code to the software program for the Mars 2020 helicopter mission, also referred to as NASA’s Ingenuity Helicopter.

“Pakistani developers are truly making their mark in the world. #DidYouKnow Ahmad Awais (@MrAhmadAwais), a Pakistani award-winning open-source engineer, contributed code to the software for the Mars 2020 helicopter mission, also known as NASA’s Ingenuity Helicopter?,” learn a message on US Embassy Islamabad’s official Twitter account.

This isn’t the primary time that Pakistanis have garnered praises within the Data Expertise (IT) discipline. 

Again in March, 15-year-old Pakistani app developer Nabeel Haider got here up with an answer: another on the spot messaging app that he claims works even higher.

Haider hails from Karachi and has a eager curiosity in app improvement.
