With a sequence win towards Pakistan, the New Zealand cricket group rose to the highest of the world Check rankings on Wednesday.
The Kiwis beat the Inexperienced shirts by an innings and 176 runs within the second Check match to seal the sequence 2-0.
It’s the first time New Zealand has topped the Check rankings. The group received six consecutive Check matches and haven’t misplaced a house sequence since March 2017.
The Kiwi captain, Kane Williamson is the world’s top-ranked Check batsman whereas Neil Wagner and Tim Southee are ranked third and fourth within the bowling rankings.
New Zealand is now ranked third within the World Check Championship desk, behind Australia and India.
