SHEIKHUPURA: PML-N chief and Member of the Nationwide Meeting Javed Latif on Sunday stated that “whether [the government] chooses to call him a traitor or hangs him”, he — alongside along with his celebration — will “not let Pakistan sink.”
Latif was chatting with PML-N staff, who had gathered outdoors his residence to indicate solidarity with him.
A day in the past, Javed Latif had made a controversial remark which was deemed “anti-Pakistan” by the federal government. Latif had stated that if something occurs to Maryam Nawaz, then “PML-N will not say Pakistan Khappay”, not like Zardari, who had used these phrases after Benazir Bhutto was assassinated.
Following the remark, PTI Central Punjab had introduced a protest in opposition to the remarks made by Latif.
