LAHORE: The Nationwide Accountability Bureau has determined to shut two inquiries pending for the final 20 years towards PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Punjab Meeting Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.

The bureau has submitted its report within the Lahore Excessive Court docket, The Information reported Thursday.

NAB Lahore Director-Normal Shahzad Saleem was current in court docket when the prosecutor submitted a report concerning the closure of inquiries of property past means and unlawful appointments towards Shujaat and Pervaiz.

The LHC bench, headed by Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan, disposed of the petitions filed by the Chaudhrys alleging NAB had been used for political engineering.
