After capturing to fame as Prince Charles on Netflix’s The Crown, Josh O’Conner spilled some unique secrets and techniques about his position.
The actor instructed E!’s Karamo on Dwell From E!: Countdown to the Golden Globes that he almost gave up the position that ended up altering the course of his profession.
“It’s kind of embarrassing, really. I think I was working another job and I got a phone call saying, ‘Would I want to come in and read for Charles?’ I mean, it was a terrible mistake!” he stated.
“Partly, I hadn’t seen the show and then I watched the show and realized it’s incredible and what Claire [Foy] and Matt [Smith] did in the first two series was magic.”
“I do not know the place I might been, I do not understand how I missed this magical present. After which I fell in love with the present, so I met with the blokes and so they satisfied me and simply stated, ‘It is a nice half.’ And so they instructed me the story and the journey we have been going to go on and it was only a no-brainer,” he added.
O’Connor bagged a Golden Globe tonight within the class of Greatest Actor in a Drama Collection for his efficiency as Prince Charles.
