The Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments have supported the Centre’s name to carry the Senate elections by the open poll, it emerged on Saturday.
The provincial governments have submitted their response to the Supreme Court docket within the presidential reference case.
The presidential reference was submitted by the Legal professional Basic of Pakistan Khalid Javed Khan after acquiring President Dr Arif Alvi’s approval underneath Article 186 of the Structure final week.

The presidential reference
