The government on Monday has endorsed an expansion in power costs by Rs0.18 per unit, a notice gave by the Ministry of Energy stated.
The normal power tax has expanded from Rs13.35 to Rs13.53 per unit. Besides, the expansion won’t have any significant bearing to buyers utilizing under 300 units of power for each month.
The increment in power costs will apply to the current month’s [December’s] charges, the notice said.

The cost has been climbed for a time of 10 months, the warning added.
