Renowned batsman Fakhar Zaman is a previous Pakistan Navy serviceman

Acclaimed Pakistani batsman Fakhar Zaman on Tuesday expressed gratitude toward the Pakistani Navy, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), his companions, and family for their help all through his cricket career.

Yesterday, Pakistan Navy had given the honourary rank of lieutenant to Fakhar Zaman in an offer to recognize his accomplishments in the game just as his relationship with the navy.

Taking his appreciation to Twitter, Zaman said that he is lowered to the Allah Almighty and grateful to CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for giving him with Honourary Lieutenant Rank of Pakistan Navy.

“This could never be possible without prayers of family, friends. Special thanks to @THEREALPCB for supporting me during my career,” the cricketer composed on Twitter.

Fakhar Zaman is a previous Pakistan Navy serviceman. He joined the naval force in 2007 as a mariner with the activities branch. 

During the early long stretches of his administration, his superb cricketing aptitudes were spotted after which he spoke to the Pakistan Navy in a few cricket tournaments.

According to an assertion gave by the Director-General Public Relations of the Pakistan Navy, the Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi presented the privileged lieutenant title upon Zaman during an exceptional epaulet grant function held at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad.
