ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Growth and Particular Initiatives Asad Umar on Wednesday mentioned that over 100,000 individuals have been vaccinated in a day for the primary time in Pakistan yesterday.

Sharing the replace on Twitter, the federal minister mentioned that about 2.1 million have been vaccinated towards the coronavirus to date.

“Daily vaccinations crossed 1 lakh in a day for the first time yesterday. Total vaccinations yesterday were 117,852. Total vaccinations so far now 2.1 million. Good to see more people registering,” the chief of Nationwide Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) tweeted.

The minister, who was glad to see an increasing number of individuals registering for the inoculation, urged the individuals above 40 years of age to register for the dose in the event that they have not finished to date.
