RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Military chief Normal Qamar Javed Bajwa met on Friday with the highest Qatari management, together with Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani throughout which issues of mutual curiosity, defence and safety cooperation have been mentioned, a press release from the navy’s media wing stated.
The Inter-services Public Relations (ISPR) stated, “Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Qatar on two days official visit. During the visit, COAS witnessed passing out parade at Ahmed Bin Muhammad Military College.”

The COAS appreciated excessive requirements of the establishment and its efforts in direction of grooming of younger cadets to tackle challenges of the longer term battlefield.
Later, COAS referred to as on His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani – Emir of the State of Qatar, His Excellency Physician Khalid Bin Muhammad Al-Attiya – Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Defence Affairs and Lieutenant Normal (Pilot) Ghanim Bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim – Chief of Employees Qatar Armed Forces.
“During the meetings, matters of mutual interest, defence & security cooperation and regional geo-political environment were discussed,” the assertion added.
The Qatari management additionally reiterated that each international locations share brotherly relations of “strategic value”.
“While expressing their satisfaction over the level of defence relations between the two Armed Forces, both sides underscored the importance of further enhancing the cooperation.”
