Chairman Joint Chiefs of Employees Committee Basic Nadeem Raza Wednesday visited military air defence ranges close to Karachi and witnessed the firing of various air defence weapon methods.
The Inter-Providers Public Relations (ISPR), in an announcement, mentioned the CJCSC witnessed the firing of air defence weapon methods and floor to air missiles (SAMs), together with LY-80 Missiles and FM-90 Missiles.
The firing marked the fruits of the military’s air defence train “Al-Bayza-II”, the army’s media wing mentioned.
Chief of the Air Employees Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and China’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong had been additionally current through the train.
Chairman JCSC was given an in depth briefing on the purpose and targets of the train — together with drills and procedures — being practiced, the ISPR mentioned.
Gen Raza appreciated the show of excessive requirements of coaching by the troops and emphasised the significance of air defence in fashionable warfare.
Earlier, upon arrival at firing ranges, Chairman JCSC was obtained by Commander Military Air Defence Command Lieutenant Basic Hamood Uz Zaman Khan.
