ISLAMABAD: At least 2,000 workers of the Pakistan International Airlines have applied for the deliberate detachment conspire (VSS), a representative revealed to The News.
The representative said the public transporter has just given delivery letters to almost 1,000 workers. Practically all offices saw cycles including air terminal and flight administrations and commercial.
The conspire, which was dispatched on December 7, was expanded twice before the last cutoff time of December 31.

The representative said that the decrease in the labor force by means of a respectable partition plot, with an alluring bundle, was urgent for the aircrafts to execute its marketable strategy. He likewise valued the help of the public authority and other stakeholders.
“The response was very encouraging and we reduced nearly 20% of our regular workforce,” said the representative. He said that the PIA would save around Rs2.5 billion from the cycles and the compensation on speculation would be two years.
