KARACHI: Two weeks after the worth of hen shot up, the worth of beef has additionally been elevated by Rs50 per kg.

Based on a report by Geo Urdu, Chairman of the Meat Retailers Affiliation Nadeem Qureshi mentioned that the provision of beef has been low, whereas meat can also be being exported. 

“Exporters have been buying meat from the local market instead of raising cattle which has led to an increase in the price of meat,” Qureshi mentioned.

However, distributors say that the worth of beef has additionally elevated as a result of many individuals have already began buying cattle for Eid-ul-Adha.

Per the report, shoppers say that the worth of all commodities have gone up, making it troublesome for individuals to afford the fundamentals. 

“Beef with bones is now available for Rs700 per kg, while boneless meat is being sold at Rs750 per kg,” shoppers say.
