Mannequin Collectorate of Customs (MCC) has confiscated 143 cartons of overseas origin liquor, Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBR) spokesperson stated Friday.
“MCC Multan has […] seized a vehicle at Faisalabad which was loaded with 143 cartons of foreign origin liquor concealed under crates of tomatoes,” the spokesperson stated.
Offering particulars of the confiscated gadgets, the spokesperson stated that 1,504 liquor bottles have been seized that are price a whopping Rs26.568 million, whereas the worth of the car is roughly Rs10 million.
In all, the market worth of the seizure was Rs35.568 million roughly, the spokesperson stated, including that an FIR had been lodged towards the people and investigation is underway.
